Haynie’s Corner First Fridays are a great opportunity to stop by Patchwork Central to say hello. The next First Friday is tonight, July 5, from 5:30 pm-9:00 pm!
Patchwork will be open to the public and we’ll have live music on our front lawn. This month, our musical guests will be the Honey Roy Duo.
Additionally, Washington Avenue will be closed to vehicles from Putnum Street in front of Patchwork to Parrett Street near Haynie’s Corner, and multiple food trucks will be positioned along it. There will also be a collection of artists and craftspeople set up and selling their work along Washington Avenue. From Washington Avenue, you can stroll down to Haynie’s Corner proper for more live music and more art vendors.
Tables will be set up for eating along Washington Avenue, but you’re also welcome to bring your food to Patchwork and eat indoors in air-conditioned comfort. Our bathrooms will also be open to the public.
If you’ve been meaning to stop by Patchwork to look around, come tonight! Or stop by during any of the other First Fridays this year. They’ll happen through October.
