We’re more than halfway through our summer Arts & Smarts children’s activities, and it’s already been a fun and eventful summer! So far we have:
- Learned about starting seeds with Margo
- Planted sweet potatoes in the garden
- Told stories on top of stories with Susan
- Created ceramic story tiles in the studio with Mollie & Jean
- Cooked apple sauce with Cathy
- Learned about the Artemis II moon mission
- Created our own rocket ships to imagine blasting off into space
- Sung songs and played the drums with Great Grandpa Gary
- Created collaged “junk” journals with Brittany
- Painted rocks then walked to Haynie’s Corner to plant them for people to find
- Planted geraniums to take home
- Learned stories of the American Revolution from Susan
- Made many new friends and much, much more!
