Patchwork Central’s annual Pancake Extravaganza is coming up on Saturday, April 20! We’ll be serving all-you-can-eat pancakes plus sausage, cooked apples, coffee, and orange juice from 7:30 am-11:30 am. You’ll have a choice of plain, blueberry, and gluten free pancakes. Tickets cost $8 for adults and $6 for kids. We accept cash or checks. We’ll also have a deep-discount sale of our stock of artwork created by past Arts & Smarts participants. Come join us!
It’s a great opportunity to experience a little bit of what it’s like at Patchwork every Monday-Thursday morning. There is a warm friendliness about the place. People gather to drink coffee, enjoy some snacks, and chat. Maybe they’ve known the person sitting next to them for years. Maybe they’ve just met. Volunteers at the kitchen window serve up food with a smile and keep pots of coffee hot. Connections are made. Community is built.
All proceeds from our Pancake Extravaganza will be used to support Patchwork’s programming, so your breakfast next Saturday will help us provide breakfasts for others throughout the week.
