May Day at Patchwork Central was filled with a celebration of the past school year in the Arts & Smarts Program.
Parents gathered to admire their children’s artwork. Younger brothers and sisters ran around, excited to get to stay at Patchwork for once instead of simply stopping to drop off their older siblings. The scent of pizza wafted through the air and volunteers were at the ready to make sure everyone’s plates were filled.
We recognized everyone’s hard work and leadership throughout the year and watched a slide show to revisit all the activities and projects that we’d completed.
It was a wonderful evening together!

Our Arts & Smarts Program will take a short break during the month of May, and then we’ll start back up on June 9 with our Art Garden Summer activities.
